Which institution does this guide cover?

AISSMS College of Engineering, code 06278, is an autonomous SPPU-affiliated institution on Kennedy Road. It is not AISSMS Institute of Information Technology, code 06282. A common society name or nearby location does not make their Computer Engineering fees, seats or closing scores identical.

Eligibility and admission process

For the usual first-year PCM route in the 2026–27 state brochure, Maharashtra candidates need Physics and Mathematics with an allowed third subject, 45% in the specified subject group (40% for eligible Maharashtra reserved/EWS/PwD candidates), and a non-zero PCM MHT-CET score. All India candidature has separate rules and gives preference to a positive JEE Main score. These eligibility conditions do not guarantee allotment.

The standard first-year engineering programme is four years. Diploma/lateral-entry applicants must use the separate direct-second-year process; the first-year intake and cutoff tables below do not describe DSE seats.

  1. Register for the relevant CET Cell admission process and complete document scrutiny.
  2. Check the final merit status, candidature and eligible seat categories.
  3. Enter exact branch choice codes in your preferred order.
  4. Follow the applicable round’s acceptance and reporting rules after allotment.
  5. Use a separate institute notification for any authorised Institute Level or against-CAP-vacancy process; an enquiry is not an allotment.

As checked on 30 September 2026, the official 2026–27 engineering portal says admissions are closed. The figures here are reference data for that session, not a claim that applications or seats are currently available.

Fees: session, category and inclusions

AISSMS COE — FY B.Tech 2026–27 published academic charges
Fee componentAmount
Tuition₹1,52,572
Development₹22,428
Tuition + development — calculated subtotal₹1,75,000
Caution money deposit — separate₹1,000

The college’s signed fee notice dated 9 June 2026 lists these first-year charges. It separately records a management-seat fee of ₹5,25,000; this is a different admission-route entry, not an extra amount to add to the ordinary tuition and development subtotal. NRI fee rows contain dashes and do not establish either a price or seat availability.

The ₹1,75,000 subtotal covers only tuition and development. The ₹1,000 caution deposit is separate, and the notice does not establish hostel, mess, university or examination charges as included. Obtain the category-specific official payment demand and deposit/refund terms before budgeting.

Hostel and mess

A dated COE-specific accommodation quotation has not been verified. Confirm whether the offered residence is society-managed or external, its address, room occupancy, mess terms and deposits. An AISSMS society facility must not be described as automatically included in COE tuition.

Cutoffs and how to read them

These are 2026–27 CAP Round I, Stage I historical results for Maharashtra seats. GOPENS means General Open, State Level. The rank is the Maharashtra State General Merit Number; the bracketed score is the merit percentile, not raw marks or JEE All India Rank.

Curriculum and campus comparison

This college offers options beyond computing: Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and a separately listed Mechanical Sandwich programme. Robotics & Automation and VLSI Design & Technology have their own branch codes. Select the exact code and inspect its teaching plan before comparing it with another college’s similarly named course.

For a useful department visit, ask to see the current semester syllabus, compulsory laboratory timetable, final-year project examples and internship assessment rules. Compare the proportion of core subjects with elective or specialisation modules. Hostel access, workshop access and placement eligibility are different entitlements; get the terms for your own programme.

No current blanket accreditation grade or “all branches NBA accredited” claim is made here. Accreditation has a programme and validity period; it should be matched to the admission year using the actual certificate.

Placement evidence and reporting scope

AISSMS COE and AISSMS IOIT are separate reporting institutions. A shared recruitment drive or recruiter logo is not a branch-wise placement result. No verified completed-batch median or unique-student placement rate is quoted here. For the Mechanical Sandwich option, also distinguish curricular industrial training from a final employment offer.

COMMON QUESTIONS

AISSMS COE Pune engineering: FAQs

Which institution and campus does AISSMS COE Pune refer to?

AISSMS College of Engineering, code 06278, is an autonomous SPPU-affiliated institution on Kennedy Road. It is not AISSMS Institute of Information Technology, code 06282. A common society name or nearby location does not make their Computer Engineering fees, seats or closing scores identical.

Which admission year do these numbers describe?

The fee and intake tables identify their source session. CAP data, where shown, is 2026–27 Round I and is historical. Placement evidence retains its own batch or reporting date. These are not confirmed 2027–28 fees or cutoffs.

Does the listed fee include hostel and mess?

Read the academic and residence sections separately. An academic total does not include accommodation unless the cited schedule explicitly says so. Category concessions also require the applicable documents and approval.

Can Campus Mantra guarantee admission?

No. Campus Mantra provides independent guidance; admission decisions and allotments belong to the college, university and relevant authorities.
