Eligibility and admission process
For first-year CSE, DYPIU’s 2026 eligibility page requires 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics plus an allowed subject, 50% in the specified group (45% for reserved-category candidates), and qualification in an accepted test such as MHT-CET, JEE, PERA or the university entrance test. Its other engineering rows have differing thresholds and some Civil/Chemical rows describe diploma/B.Sc. routes; confirm the first-year route for those programmes rather than applying the CSE rule universally.
Fees: session, category and inclusions
For regular CSE, two semesters of tuition total ₹2,60,000. Adding two registration charges and the one-time deposit gives ₹2,75,000 in first-year listed academic charges (Campus Mantra calculation), before hostel, meals or other charges not stated in this table. This calculation is not a four-year fixed-fee promise.

Hostel and mess
DYPIU’s residence page describes D. Y. Patil Residency, single and multiple-bedded rooms with attached washrooms, and planned facilities including a dining hall and indoor sports. Its wording is prospective. A dated room tariff, opening/allotment confirmation and mess inclusion should be obtained before assuming availability; no unverified price is quoted here.
Cutoffs and how to read them
A verified DYPIU branch-wise historical closing-score list has not been established. DYPCOE Akurdi’s Maharashtra CAP cutoff belongs to a different college. Minimum board eligibility and an accepted entrance test are application conditions, not a guaranteed offer.
