Which institution does this guide cover?

This page covers MIT World Peace University at Kothrud, not MIT Art, Design and Technology University at Loni Kalbhor. The B.Tech award is from MIT-WPU. An institution’s university status, programme intake and any programme accreditation are separate facts; this guide does not claim blanket NBA coverage.

Engineering courses and programme details

Selected four-year B.Tech entries from Annexure 2 of the 2026–27 policy; this is not the university’s complete programme list. These are the policy’s intake figures, not current vacancies.

Eligibility and admission process

For CSE, the current official page requires 50% aggregate in 10+2 with English and 50% in the specified Physics/Mathematics subject group; the stated concession is 45% for Maharashtra reserved-category candidates. Its selection section now refers to JEE 2027, MHT-CET 2027 or PERA-CET 2027 plus a 500-word statement of purpose. This is separate from the dated 2026–27 policy. Apply through MIT-WPU’s own portal after verifying the intake and programme-specific requirements.

Fees: 2026–27 policy and 2027 admissions

For the 2026–27 entering session, the dated policy lists CSE at ₹4,10,000 per year. The official B.Tech admissions microsite now identifies its intake as 2027 and lists CSE at ₹4,30,000; the CSE programme page confirms that figure is annual. These refer to different admission cycles and should not be merged into a single fee quote.

Selected fees displayed for 2027 admissions, checked 13 October 2026
B.Tech programmeAnnual academic fee
CSE; CSE AI & Data Science; CSE Cloud Computing; CSE Cyber Security & Forensics₹4,30,000 each
Bioengineering, Chemical and Mechanical₹3,85,000 each
Civil Engineering₹3,15,000

The earlier table remains explicitly tied to the 2026–27 policy. Neither table is a fixed four-year quotation or an inclusive hostel budget. Obtain the applicable admission-offer fee schedule before payment.

Hostel and mess

The 2026–27 housing manual lists, for example, Akanksha girls’ hostel at Kothrud: non-AC double ₹2,10,000 and triple ₹2,05,000 for the session, plus ₹25,000 refundable security deposit. These are specific residence options, not every student’s compulsory charge. Confirm meal inclusion, allocation and the next session’s tariff before treating them as an all-in budget.

Cutoffs and how to read them

No final, branch-wise admission closing-score dataset has been verified for MIT-WPU here. The university’s JEE/MHT-CET scholarship percentiles are scholarship criteria, not closing admission cutoffs. Do not use the CAP cutoff of an older MIT college or MIT-ADT as an MIT-WPU threshold.

Curriculum and campus comparison

The CSE programme describes programming, algorithms, databases, operating systems and networks, with tracks including Data Science, Information & Cyber Security, Multimedia & Computer Vision and Software Design & Development. These are programme features; they do not promise a particular job title or salary.

Placement evidence and reporting scope

A verified branch-specific completed-batch placement report with a matching student denominator and salary definition is not available in this guide. University-wide salary headlines would not establish the outcome of B.Tech CSE, Civil or Mechanical individually. Use the official placement information alongside the exact programme’s report when comparing an offer.

Plan your engineering shortlist

Campus Mantra can help you compare the documented admission route, preferred branch and available budget. Bring your entrance scorecard, Class 12 subject marks and the fee notice for your proposed seat category. Keep refundable deposits separate from tuition and add accommodation only when you have a residence quotation.

COMMON QUESTIONS

MIT-WPU Pune engineering: FAQs

Which campus and university does MIT-WPU Pune belong to?

This page covers MIT World Peace University at Kothrud, not MIT Art, Design and Technology University at Loni Kalbhor. The B.Tech award is from MIT-WPU. An institution’s university status, programme intake and any programme accreditation are separate facts; this guide does not claim blanket NBA coverage.

Which admission year do these numbers describe?

The programme/intake table cites the 2026–27 admission policy. The fee section separately identifies figures on the university’s 2027 admissions microsite. Hostel examples remain 2026–27. Entrance eligibility and scholarship thresholds are not historical closing admission cutoffs.

Does the listed fee include hostel and mess?

Read the academic and residence sections separately. An academic total does not include accommodation unless the cited schedule explicitly says so. Category concessions also require the applicable documents and approval.

Can Campus Mantra guarantee admission?

No. Campus Mantra provides independent guidance; admission decisions and allotments belong to the college, university and relevant authorities.
